About This Program

Our mission at Via Christi is to teach comprehensive Family Medicine to residents of character who are called to serve the community with an emphasis on patient-centered care. Our program accepts 18 residents per year and provides full scope family medicine training. In addition to your continuity clinic, outpatient rotations and elective blocks you will complete 7 months of inpatient medicine with ICU training, 4 months of inpatient pediatrics with PICU training and 5 to 8 months of OB with primary C-section training. We also require one month in a rural or international setting. Please check out our website at vcfm.net to learn more and see if we can provide the training you desire. Residents (DOs and MDs) interested in joining the Osteopathic Focused Track may elect to participate in the track after matching with our program. We no longer offer a separate match for this track.
