About This Program

Welcome to one of the nation’s premier family medicine residency programs!

Our unopposed, community-based program offers full-scope training, tailored to fit your practice goals. Our unique culture cultivates compassionate care to the underserved, and our uncompromising focus forms exemplary family physicians. Our graduates practice both nationally and globally in diverse settings—from critical access locations to fellowship-trained specialties.

Waco’s training includes significant OB experience (including C-section competence, if desired), colonoscopies, critical care management, and multiple procedures. Optional tracks include global health, high/low OB, and medical Spanish (one of a handful nationally). A post-graduate, ACGME-accredited Sports Medicine Fellowship is also available.

A leader in fostering patient wellness, we offer a patient fitness center, healthy produce prescriptions, a medical-legal partnership, and behavioral health professionals integrated into your daily clinic practice.

And the vibrant city of Waco combines a low cost of living, great options for outdoor enthusiasts, a family-friendly environment, and the advantages of an awesome college town. Check our website for more details!
