About This Program
The University of Rochester Neurology Residency Training Program emphasizes excellence in clinical neurology and has produced academic neurologists, practitioners of neurology, researchers, and teachers. The residency training schedule is designed for flexibility and substantial elective time is provided in all years of training. Clinical teaching is provided by full-time academic neurologists who are actively engaged in the practice of clinical neurology throughout the year. A close-knit, friendly "family" atmosphere exists among faculty and residents. Robust international electives are available to all senior residents, including teaching electives in Krakow, Poland and Pamplona, Spain, as well as a clinical research elective in Malawi, Africa.
