About This Program
The ENT residency training program at Case Western Reserve University accepts four residents per year, for five years, giving them exposure to the full spectrum of otolaryngology, including but not limited to:
1. Faculty and residents work side by side in clinics, operating suites & during educational conferences to ensure collaborative training and strong mentorship.
2. Hands-on workshops available for residents to augment their didactic and operative training include: ENT Boot Camp, Temporal Bone Course, Cadaveric Surgical Dissection, Sinus Endoscopy & Allergy, Laryngeal Micro- Laryngoscopy, Fillers/Injectables, Microvascular and Trauma Plating.
3. Attendance at national meetings, AAO-HNS or COSM is provided. The department also sponsors residents whose posters or podium presentations are accepted at other meetings.
We foster the development of academic and private practice careers for residents. Residents also participate in their own quality improvement project and provides input to the ENT High Reliability Medicine/QA Task Force.
