About This Program

The mission of our Pediatric Residency Program is to train driven, intellectually curious pediatricians from diverse backgrounds who deliver expert, compassionate clinical care through the seamless integration of science, advocacy, and education.

The Pediatric Residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai / Kravis Children’s Hospital provides a superb balance between primary care and subspecialty training in a rigorous and scholarly environment. We support categorical, combined Pediatric-Medical Genetics, combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics, and Pediatrics/Psychiatry/Child Psychiatry programs; we also have a specialized Physician Scientist track. We prioritize our learning environment and value the contributions of our residents. Our program is highly flexible and provides 12 months of individualized training time allowing residents to customize their experience to meet their professional goals.
