Outdoor activities and sunshine are the norm. The program is led by a diverse faculty who are national leaders in major societies including the AAP, AAPMR, ABPMR, and ISPRM. The program is comprehensive with cutting edge experience in neurotrauma (TBI, SCI); EMG; Consults; neurorehabilitation (Stroke, Parkinson, ALS); musculoskeletal (Sports, Interventions, Ultrasound, Amputee); Pediatrics Rehabilitation; and curriculums in Research, Quality Medicine, and Administration. We host ACGME-accredited TBI and Cancer Rehabilitation fellowships. We are nationally recognized with many accolades to include CARF-accreditations in 12 PM&R sub-specialties; our PD was awarded the ACGME Courage to Teach Award; our department was recognized with the Golisano Health Leadership award from the Special Olympics; and finally, our hospital was the first and only rehabilitation hospital to ever receive the AHA's Quest for Quality Award.
