About This Program
The Cleveland Clinic Department of Radiation Oncology offers a fully ACGME-accredited four year advanced training program in radiation oncology. This superior academic and clinical training program is equipped with the latest radiotherapy and radiosurgery technology, and is designed to prepare our residents to become future leaders in the practice of radiation oncology. The faculty are highly engaged in resident education, and residents are assigned to one-on-one clinical rotations in an apprenticeship model. Residents are eligible for up to 9 months of dedicated research time. With case-based clinical teaching conferences, multidisciplinary tumor boards, and mock oral exams, Cleveland Clinic graduates have performed at a very high level on board exams and in clinical practice after training. The Cleveland Clinic Radiation Oncology Residency has established a strong track record of developing residents into outstanding clinicians, dedicated teachers, innovative researchers, visionary leaders, and compassionate caregivers.
