About This Program

Our diagnostic radiology program engages residents directly in image acquisition, interpretation and patient care from day one. Trainees have abundant interaction with our nationally recognized faculty with one-to-one teaching at the work station, simulation. didactics and case-based learning. Trainee responsibility grows with experience and expertise. Residents have exposure to all subspecialties of diagnostic radiology within the first three years and participate in a dedicated quality and value curriculum. The PGY-5 year incorporates increased independence and responsibility, emphasizing the transition from residency to fellowship and practice, including electives, multidisciplinary conferences and leadership or research related activities.

The program goal is to develop clinicians who use the knowledge and skills honed during training to provide exemplary patient care, bringing value to health care systems and our society. Residents will graduate from this program with a dynamic and robust skill set that enables continuous engagement in critical and innovative thinking. Scholarly opportunities are available and may be tailored to specific interests, whether clinical, applied or in basic sciences.
