About This Program
Duke University Medical Center is a world-renowned institution offering a unique training experience in child neurology. Our residency is a three-year ACGME accredited training program with over 10 full-time faculty. Our faculty members have a variety of subspecialty training, including epilepsy, neuromuscular medicine, intensive care neonatology, headache, sleep, and neurodevelopment. There is a strong interest in research among division members, with notable contributions to gene therapy for muscular dystrophy and novel drugs for the treatment of epilepsy.
Our program offers exceptional training across all aspects of neurology. We also offer an opportunity for research that is built into the curriculum. Residents are offered subspecialty track programs if they have an interest in pursuing fellowships in epilepsy, sleep, or neuromuscular medicine at Duke.
