The HonorHealth IM Residency is a fully-accredited residency program located in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona. The program features a strong concentration on resident wellness, innovative curriculum including “Great Debates” and a combined certificate program with Arizona State University on the Science of Healthcare Delivery. Residents play a major role in the health system’s quality improvement and research programs. Dedicated time through a continuity QI/research experience with a dedicated faculty preceptor has helped residents to complete these projects and win awards at ACP-AZ and present at national meetings. Thompson Peak Medical Center is recognized as one of only three teaching hospitals to receive a 5-star rating from CMS.

The smaller residency size allows for more personalized faculty mentoring and the ability to shape the overall learning experience. Our residents have been successful in obtaining fellowship positions in various disciplines and other career aspirations. HonorHealth will be starting its cardiology fellowship this year.
