About This Program

Mount Sinai St. Luke's Roosevelt offers comprehensive training in perioperative patient care and pain management. Our program prepares students to become consulting anesthesiologists through world-class education, training and hands-on experience in total patient care, focusing on three core areas: clinical patient care, cardiac and advanced life support training and certification, and post anesthetic and intensive care. Residents specialize during their third and final year, performing more complex procedures and becoming fully trained to work independently as anesthesiology consultants.
