About This Program
Ohio State is the third-largest university in the country, with both a major health system and seven health sciences colleges located in close proximity on one campus. The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s Department of Internal Medicine is the largest department in one of the nation’s leading academic medical centers and comprises 15 specialty divisions. Its Dermatology Residency Program has a robust clinical and didactic curriculum rooted in ACGME core competencies. Emphasis is placed on producing dermatologists who will work with patient populations that are underserved for geographic or socioeconomic reasons, or those who will make important contributions to the future of dermatology by choosing careers as academic clinician educators. This residency offers clinical experiences in general dermatology, pediatric dermatology, surgical dermatology, contact dermatitis, light therapy, laser therapy and cosmetic dermatology.
