About This Program
The Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center Dermatology residency program (ACGME) is integrated with the University Hospitals Regional Hospitals Dermatology residency program (AOA) since its inception in 2002. As of June 30, 2016, the program has 21 graduates from the osteopathic track program and has a 100% board pass rate. The board certification pass rate on Doximity reports only ABMS certified residents, not those certified by AOA. The alumni who have profiles on this site represent both ABMS and AOA certified physicians.
The current ACGME accredited Dermatology Program #0803821120 received approval from the ACGME Osteopathic Principles Committee. With this approval, the UH Regional Hospitals AOA Dermatology residents transferred into the newly approved ACGME Osteopathic Recognition track on July 1, 2016. The total number of resident positions increases to 18 and all residents will be eligible to take the ABMS certification exam.
